This summer, we chose the Texas coast for our family vacation spot. Surfside Beach was perfect for the Carroll family. :) We enjoyed the short drive to get to the beach house and the weather was perfect. Porter loved every single thing about it. Highlights for him were sleeping in the bunk bed at the beach house, pretend surfing on his Cars surfboard, watching the "real" surfers and getting to stand on a "real" surfboard, finding hundreds of seashells, looking for seagulls, building a jeep sand castle, trying to catch crabs, looking through binoculars to find dolphins, going to the aquarium, riding a golf cart on the beach, eating ice cream cones every day, and just being together as a family.
We enjoyed being away and slowing down. Family time is priceless! These are the best times of my life. I will treasure these memories forever and ever.....

Love these pics Amy!! They are absolutely beautiful! So jealous of your 50mm. :) So glad you guys had such a great time. I'm hoping that our time away will be just as sweet. I can't wait to see Avery on the beach.
