Shavin' like Daddy

Porter's new favorite morning activity is "shavin' like Daddy" (pronounced just like that). He was over the top THRILLED when Daddy brought back a Sponge Bob shaving kit from one of his recent business trips! Now, every single morning, this is what I see from my side of the bathroom:

Do ya think he was excited to go see "Alvin and the Chipmunks"? The word "excited" is an understatement! :) Now, all we talk about is Alvin, Simon and Theodore! I have to admit, I thought it was a pretty cute movie myself and it was a great way to get a sick little boy out of the house! :) Porter keeps saying, "I want to go back and watch the Big T.V.!"

And.....to get our attention now, he shouts, "ALLLLVIN!"

Gotta love it.....

All Cheered Up!

Everyone, meet the newest member of our family....

Dory!

We needed a MAJOR cheering up surprise since Porter has been sick on and off for the past month! So, today, we made a trip to PETCO and Porter happily chose "Dory."

He picked the color he wanted (red) and gave him the name which came as no surprise. :)

When we got home we talked about how Dory would watch us sing and dance, eat our meals, and say our prayers from the kitchen island. :) Then, Porter proceeded to tell Dory what the Carroll Family Identity was:

1) The Carrolls don't whine

and

2) We love each other no matter what!
