Look Who's Sitting Up!

I am sitting up like a big boy now. Mommy was so impressed today when she left me sitting and I didn't topple over like I used to. I love my new independence!!!!!!!

Last weekend, I got to meet my Uncle Russ and Uncle Randy for the first time. They were in town seeing my great Grandmom Jobson. They came over to play with me and we had a great time together!

Fun at the Farm

This week was the BEST! I went to Gilmer with Mommy and we stayed with Mia and Poppy. While we were there, we went to the farm to see my great grandparents, Nonna and Grandad. Grandad took me for a ride in the golf cart and showed me EVERYTHING! Mommy was so excited because she said I was getting to do what she got to do when she was a little girl. Now I know why she had so much fun! I had a blast!

COOL....look what we found....a mama cow that had just given birth to a new baby calf! He's little like me and so cute!

Now, let's get Mommy and go see how close we can get to those other cows. I want to hear them say "Moo"!

Happy 1/2 Birthday to ME!

Hooray!

I am 6 months old! Mommy and Daddy had a birthday party for me and even sang "Happy 1/2 Birthday"! We had cake and balloons and my friend Zayne came over to celebrate with me. I can't wait for my one year birthday because this was super fun!!!

Last weekend, Daddy and I went on a photo shoot with Mommy. Daddy pushed me in the stoller while Mommy snapped away! :) It was such a pretty day! I just love being outside!

Dear Porter,

I am so proud of you! At five months you are doing so many amazing things! My favorite part of the day is watching you laugh and smile. It makes me happy to see you happy! :) And, I am so impressed that you already have two teeth, you are inching on the floor and getting into everything, and you are already imitating your Daddy by saying "Du Du Du"! I never knew I could love someone so much that it hurts, but you have filled my heart in places I didn't know existed. Thank you for giving your Daddy and me so much joy! We love you.

I am SO excited! I got a HUGE package in the mail from my Aunt Amanda in New York.

She is my Mommy's best friend since they were babies together! She was a ballerina for the New York City ballet and now performs on Broadway with Phantom of the Opera. I can't wait to watch her perform one day! This is what she sent me......SOOOOOOOO awesome:

Yesterday was playgroup and Mommy and I had fun as usual! We got to go outside (finally!) and it was so much fun to hang out with the guys again. :) I love my friends. We are "tight"!

Lately, I have been LOVING my new highchair (thank you Nanny and Pop Pop!). I love to sit in it while Mommy is making dinner. I get to eat bananas in my Nuby teether! They are SO yummy!
